AIM:

The main aim of this project is to implement the wireless RF-ID attendance system by using ZigBee technology.

PURPOSE:

The main purpose of this project is used to develop the low cost and high performance wireless RF-ID attendance system by using ZigBee Technology.

DESCRIPTION:

This System assigns a unique card number for each employee. An employee places the RFID card within 8cm distance from the RFID Reader. The RFID Reader sends the unique id number to microcontroller. Microcontroller will reads that number and checks whether the card is correct r not if it is correct then it will show the LCD and it send the information through ZigBee. The type of arrival/departure is indicated on the LCD display. After recording the attendance data this information can be downloaded into a supervisory PC through a RS-232 serial port. The Interface software is responsible for attendance record data processing and it produces attendance reports in required format. Attendance processing (Interface) software can also be integrated with the dot net software. This project is implemented using RFID card reader, ARM7LPC2148 micro-controller, LCD display is used to display the tag details, buzzer to indicate confirmation of verification.
